Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a mention and a citation?

A mention is your brand name in the text of the answer. A citation is a URL from your site in the answer's sources. The two are independent: you can be mentioned without being cited, and cited without being mentioned.

How often does Vizioa measure?

Every week, on every plan. A daily frequency is planned as an option.

Why can my results differ from what I see in ChatGPT?

Vizioa queries the engines through their APIs. A logged-in user gets an answer shaped by memory, history, preferences and location. Vizioa's numbers are therefore directional: they are meant to be compared over time, not read as absolute values.

Why do answers change from one week to the next?

An AI assistant does not always give the same answer to the same question. That is why Vizioa repeats measurements every week and tracks a trend rather than a single result.

Where is my data hosted?

In the European Union: the database is in Paris and the application in Amsterdam. To be measured, your questions are sent to the engine providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, Microsoft), whose servers may be located outside the European Union.

Which engines are included?

Seven engines are included in every plan: ChatGPT and Claude (web search enabled), Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot.

Does Vizioa change my site or write content?

No. Vizioa only measures. If you want support to act on your results, Modernova, the publisher of Vizioa, offers it separately.

Is there a free trial?

No. The subscription is monthly with no commitment, from €59 per month excl. VAT.
